At our Istanbul law office, we provide legal solutions that guide our clients through their commercial matters, and we handle individual disputes carefully through every stage. We regularly follow the legislation, authority decisions and case law in the fields we work in, with IT and AI law first among them, and we approach every matter with a current legal perspective.
Founding Attorney
Özden Serinay Öz
Özden Serinay Öz is the founder of Özden Öz Law Office and practises as an attorney registered with the Istanbul Bar Association.
She completed her law degree at Yaşar University Faculty of Law on a full scholarship, studying at the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg in Austria during an Erasmus exchange. She completed her master's degree in the Economic Law Programme at Galatasaray University. In the study she prepared during this period, she compared personal data protection and transparency principles in AI-supported decision-making under the KVKK and the GDPR. She has completed ISO/IEC 42001 AI Management System Lead Auditor training.
She has worked at well-established corporate law firms in Türkiye, supporting clients in the technology, e-commerce, energy, construction, real estate, industrial and entertainment sectors in contracts and disputes. She coordinated the team preparing public legal-information content in the AI Working Group of the Istanbul Bar Association's IT Law Commission, and contributed to research on global AI governance at the Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP). She has also taken part in international justice work in Egypt. Through her work in legal technology and legal design methods, she aims to make legal documents and processes clearer for clients.
She delivers trainings on AI law to associations and companies. She has run social responsibility projects on women's rights, and continues to work with high schools and civil society organisations to raise awareness against digital violence. She also took part in gender equality work at TED University for a period.
She provides services in Turkish and English.

Technology & IT Consultant
Oğuzhan Saman
Oğuzhan Saman is the office's IT consultant, responsible for its technology infrastructure and information security. He graduated from Middle East Technical University. He is the founder of VekilApp, a case and practice management platform for lawyers, and held product and team management roles at GovernID, which builds data-inventory systems. He holds an ISO 27001 certification.
He supports the office with technical assessments in matters involving IT, AI and cybersecurity, helping ensure that these matters are handled from a technical as well as a legal perspective.
